It's always a worry - whether the new pet you bring home will get along with the one that you already have. We hope for the best, but when it doesn't go the way we hope, we find ourselves a little devastated. Imgur user monachopsisss experienced that same fear with their 2-year-old lab and the new puppy that they adopted and shared it in this imgur thread.

But, the story of these two doggos is one that brings hope. Just because your adopted pet doesn't immediately get along with the pet you have, doesn't mean that they never will. It'll take time, but with enough love and care all around, they will most likely start getting along just like these two beauties.
